We love this ebike. It makes long bike rides so much easier! It is well engineered and assembled. It looks fabulous too.
I would say it us comfortable to seat for longer time. I like that I can go anywhere quickly with less effort in general. In general it is almost like a classi cal bike with extra bonus as chance to use different speed with pedal assistance. You can also use as normal bike if battery will be low.
Under the PEI government rebate program, and with the help of a Dutch bike mechanic friend, I bought a Raleigh Dobson from the Charlottetown Canadian Tire (CT). While the two salesmen were affable, they and the cashier, also friendly if difficult to attract at first, were in error about an automatic rebate which took weeks to remedy. When we discovered that the charger was defunct, the Charlottetown CT seemed thoroughly perplexed. The Canadian Tire bike department manager refused to have it checked at the CT automotive department. We called the Toronto distributor and had a fantastic experience with Noah.
It was a genuine experience with a real person answering the phone. We did not have to endure a mouse maze of punching keys, or dreadful musik, or endless ads. Just Noah. And just everything you could ask for for help. With the help of a voltmeter and camera, it was demonstrated that the charger was indeed defective. Noah immediately sent out another charger. I have been in contact since about the reassuring testing of the bike's sealed (in the downtube) battery. The bike has also been featured in a PEI tourist video encouraging the sedentary to get ebikes and get outdoors. The bike has so far logged 400 km since hitting the trails and roads in June. At 30c per litre for petrol, it's been earning its keep on errands around the Settlement and to neighbors. I would buy this bike again provided there is a Noah in the picture. Thank you Noah!
Garbage quality for this price!
There is constant friction noise from the tires hitting the guards!!!d
This is my first electric bike so I cannot compare it to other bikes but I expected more for a bike in this price range.
I am unsure if the issues are related to poor manufacturing or poor assembly. There is constant friction noise from the tires hitting the guards. Because of the constant friction, the battery does not last more than 25 km regardless of the speed setting.
