Save your money to buy a new tube. Patches DO NOT HOLD despite following instructions AND clamping for good measure. So much time wasted
Followed instructions exactly 4x. Every time patch let go. Wasted my afternoon and I still have a flat tire. Why Raleigh would put their name on something history shows does not work as promised speaks volumes about management of this company.
Useless! After cleaning the area with samd paper etc i Applied the patch and held it in place for 4 or 5 minutes, as i started pumping air back again and it peeled off straight away.. absolute rubbish
In my experience the patches are worthless, the adhesive is too weak to hold onto the tube and make a good seal. Also, very overpriced for what you get. the tire levers are cheap and will snap
Repair barely lasted a week before tire was flat. Inspection revealed the patch was not holding. While this might work as an emergency repair to allow you to get back home, it is not a permanent repair and I blame it on the glue-less patch!
