Good and Okay

Riding is a challenge when riding on two or three wheels on the left side. So, it's a good workout, but when I switch to gear 2, it makes a lot of noise.

Good value for the price. Good for beginners

Nice bike. Good to normal/ small mountains. Better if the rear stars/gear were bigger so easier to climb higher mountains.

Bike was sold to me scraped up.

Recently I picked up this bike at a Canadian Tire in Merritt BC. After I went to the counter and paid I got the tires inflated and moved it over to the car to put it in.

Looking at the bike I saw scratches on the underside of the frame to the metal. As I've only walked the bike around, I naturally take the bike back and ask for a refund because I assume it was damaged from factory. The ladies at customer service were nice and helpful, when they got the manager... he was quite honestly very crass saying "We treat bikes like cars here, if it leaves the lot it's yours" when it never even touched my car yet.

So after an argument and a half I got $50 off of $800 for a damaged bike...

Making the most of it, if you check everything over and tune your bike before you do a major ride, Raleigh is decent. I should see if I can sue Canadian Tire Merritt for selling me damaged goods.

Small issues

Nice bike.. only critique is that the gears are not shifting properly, and the brakes are not grabbing like I thought they would. Gonna have to bring to sport check for them to fix the issues that shouldnt be there for a new bike.
